This is something our Life Skills Development Program at Blueprints for Recovery strives to do, as we feel it is particularly useful for the addict seeking a better life. Our team believes it is particularly critical for recovering addicts to learn life development skills during the course of treatment, as these will only aide one’s sober living success in the long run.
The reason our program prioritizes others learning and developing life skills is because feel it is intrinsic to success. Some of these top skills include navigating social interactions, honing career skills, evolving one’s education, keeping interpersonal relationships, effective decision making and problem solving, as well as properly coping with stress, trauma, and loss. Positive development of these skills is an important part of our process at Blueprints for Recovery, as we have seen it help countless young men from the age of 18-30 attain the life goals they’ve only dreamed of.
